The Management Board of RHI AG announces that it has received a letter from Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich Aktiengesellschaft, Vienna stating the following:
“Since 29 October 2008, a total of 1,279,511 shares of RHI AG are attributable to Raiffeisen Centrobank AG Vienna, FN 117505f (RCB) in accordance with the provisions of article 91 BörseG. In addition to this it is stated that RCB, in its function as market maker, also holds a variable amount of shares of RHI AG, which in accordance with article 91 para. 2 BörseG is not to be included in the calculation of voting rights. The controlling interest of RZB in RCB is held indirectly via RZB Kl Beteiligungs GmbH (100%) and RZB IB Beteiligungs GmbH“ (which holds 99.99% directly in RCB).
Further, 1,397,000 shares of RHI AG are attributable to RZB in accordance with article 91 BörseG, which had already been held directly by RZB previously.
Therefore, RZB, together with its group company RCB, holds a total of 2,676,511 shares of RHI AG; this corresponds to a stake of 7.08% in the share capital and voting rights of RHI AG”.
